GN Netcom Computer Headsets and Microsoft Windows Vista Compatibility Issues:
Microsoft’s launch of the Windows Vista operating system was met with much anticipation and fanfare, but like most major new operating system launches Windows Vista has proven to have its share of problems for which GN Netcom’s computer headset products are not immune.
The majority of GN Netcom’s headsets are not impacted by the Windows Vista release, and for those that are, problems have been relatively minor. Below is a summary of Windows Vista issues and status to date.
GN Netcom 9330 USB & GN 9350 Computer Headsets not working with or not being recognized by Microsoft Vista.
If you currently own a GN Netcom 9330 or 9350 headset, you can check to see if your unit is Vista compatible by doing the following: Carefully slide the back of the stand unit up & off. The stand is the where the headset rests on & protrudes up out of the base unit. There, you will see a bar-code sticker. Look at the number “Underneath” the bar-code. If the 4th digit has an “I”, then your unit “IS” Vista compatible.
(Example: 0BOI1ED676A) The 4th digit is an “I”…you are compatible!
If the 4th digit IS NOT an “I” then you must follow these instructions:
