Q. Is the Plantronics Discovery 925 multipoint?
A. Yes, you have to turn the feature on. The Headset is defaulted at the factory to the multipoint turned off.
To turn the featues on: With the ear piece turned off, press and hold the volume and call control buttons simultaneously until ear piece turns on and the indicator flashes blue 2 times.
To turn the featues off: To turn the feature off after you have turned it on, start with the ear piece turned off, press and hold the volume and call control buttons simultaneously until ear piece turns on and the indicator flashes 1 time.
Q. How do I turn "on" and "off" the 925 ear piece?
A. Press and hold the call control button for 2 seconds until the indicator glows blue. If ear piece flashes red 3 times when you turn on the ear piece, then the battery is very low and should be recharged.
Q. When my ear piece is not in use, I do not have any light on the headset.
A. When your headset is in standby mode, the indicator light on the headset goes off. To confirm that your ear piece is on, press any button. You should see a blue light flash.
Q. Do I hear any tones in the Plantronics Discovery 925 headset when I turn it on or off?
A. If you are wearing the ear piece, you hear ascending tones when the power turns on and descending tones when the power turns off.
Q. Is the 925 noise canceling?
A. The 925 has noise control (Audio IQ), but not noise canceling technology.
Q. Can the Discovery 925 work with 2 cell phones?
A. YES, as long as theMulti-point feature on the headset is turned on. (see above)
Q. Is the Discovery 925 ear piece equipped with the quick pair technology?
A. Yes. The first time you turn your ear piece on, your ear piece automatically enters pairing mode for 10 minutes. Once paired successfully, your ear piece stays on for instant use, if not successful, ear piece will turn off. When you turn the ear piece on again, it will automatically go into pairing mode until successfully when paired to a Bluetooth phone
Q. How long does it take the Plantronics Discovery 925 to charge?
A. Ear Piece Charge indicator lights:
1 red flash Full battery
2 red flashes 1/3 to 2/3 full
3 red flashes Less than 1/3 full
Q. How do I know my headset is fully charged?
A. While the case is charging, the indicator light on bottom of the case flashes red. When fully charged the indicator light turns off. 3 hours for full charge using AC or USB charger, 1 hour minimum charge before first use.

A. No
Q. Do I need to charge ear piece in charging case Discovery 925?
A. No, you can plug wall adaptor directly into headset which takes 3 hours to charge.
Q. Does the charging case need charging on the 925?
The charging case provides one full charge to the headset before the battery within the case requires charging. (NOTE: Incorrect removal of the ear piece from the charge case will damage the micro USB port in the case. To properly remove the ear piece, use your thumb to gently push the ear piece in a diagonal, NOT vertical direction away from the micro USB connector.
Q. How do I know the charging case needs charging for the Plantronics 925?
To check the charging case battery status, you must connect the headset to the case. If the headset does not begin charging mode (indicator light slowly flashes red) then both headset and charging case need recharging. (NOTE: Plug either AC adaptor or USB charger to power source before connecting to charging jack on bottom of case).
Q. How do I know the 925 headset needs charging?
When you turn the headset on, you will get 3 red flashes showing the battery in the headset is low.
Q. Can I turn the Discovery 925 LED off?
A. Yes. Press and hold volume button for 4 seconds. The Ear piece will dim over 2 seconds. Repeat action to activate LED. The Blue light will brighten over 2 seconds. You will hear a single low tone, silence and then a double low tone.
Q. How do I Answer or Reject a call on the Plantronics 925?
A. When your ear piece rings, tap the power button once, you should hear 1 low tone. To reject a call and send the caller to voice mail, press the call control button for 2 seconds. (NOTE: your phone may ring before your ear piece rings. Wait until you hear the ring in your ear piece to press the call control button and answer the call.
Q. Can I redial the last number from the 925?
A. Yes, tap the call control button twice. You will hear two low tones.
Q. How do I answer a call while talking on the other phone on the
Discovery 925?
A. To answer the second call, the first call must be terminated. There is no function for placing one call on hold while answering another call from the ear piece. Press the call control button once to hang up the existing call. Press the call control button again to answer the new call from the other phone. (NOTE: If you choose not to answer the second call, and you have voicemail on the second phone, the call will go to voicemail.
