I bought this after being frustrated with a $50 Motorola bluetooth headset. I use it with a Motorola v551 cell and a nortel/nextel/whatever ubiquitous office phone. The Plantronics earpiece is excellent - very clear and listeners have no trouble hearing me. The earpiece is so sensitive that I cannot run the fan or the air conditioning in my car when using it - people say they can't hear me because of "the wind."
Plantronics did a nice engineering job – the earpiece is so comfortable that I forget I’m wearing it. The tomes it uses for informing you of link status are also well done.
When used with the adapter, the earpiece seems to like my wired phone better and every now and then doesn’t want to respond to the cell phone. A small complaint, only.
Overall, this is an outstanding system.
