Aastra DHSG EHS Cable Kit – Legacy Support (Discontinued Model)

Designed to bridge Aastra desk phones with leading wireless headset systems, this DHSG EHS (Electronic Hookswitch) Cable enables remote call answer/end functionality. It is compatible with Jabra/GN EHS adapters (for Jabra wireless headsets), Plantronics APS-1 (for older CS Series), and Plantronics APS-11 (for Savi and newer CS510, CS520, and CS540 series).

Compatible Aastra Phone Models:

• 53i, 55i, 57i, 57i CT

• 6753i, 6755i, 6757i, 6757i CT

Important Restrictions – Please Read Before Ordering:

• Do not purchase if your phone model is not listed above. This cable is not universal.

• This cable cannot be used in conjunction with sidecar expansion modules on any supported phone.

Required Setup Instructions (Must Follow for Functionality):

The Aastra phone will auto-detect the DHSG headset, but two manual settings changes are mandatory:

1. Set the Audio Mode to "Headset/Speaker":
   Navigate to: Options > Preferences > Set Audio > Audio Mode > select Headset/Speaker.

2. Disable the "Goodbye Key Cancels Incoming Call" feature (to ensure full headset control):
   Access the phone's Web UI and go to: Basic Settings > Preferences > General – then uncheck or disable this parameter.
