Poly’s latest wireless headset line up not only looks good but can perform. In this post I’ll break down some of the key features and lay out the main differences in the lineup. The first notable thing is the styling. Somewhat reminiscent of Beats headphones, they have a sleek and simplistic design, but with a refined business aesthetic. Large soft padded earphones and head bands mean all day comfort. They also come with a wonderful suite of intuitive on board controls. This series doesn’t just have the looks. It has the hardware and features to thrive in any work space. Whether in a private office or on a busy open floor.

Poly Voyager 4310 UC Bluetooth Mono USB-A Headset

First up in the Voyager 4300 Series from Poly is the 4310 UC which is a mono (single ear) headset with a call center focus that still comes with the same comfort and longevity and excellent battery time. Overall a great headset with excellent noise cancellation that Poly (Plantronics) is known for, a large battery for all day use, and superior build quality. This unit is for use with just your Computer thanks to the BT700 adapter and your cell phone via Bluetooth.

The Poly Voyager 4320 UC is the same headset as the 4310 just in stereo (Duo) configuration. A better choice over the 4310 if you’re in a loud office setting so you can accurately hear exactly what the other person on the line is saying or if you just want to block out everything else with some music via Bluetooth to a smart device.

Poly Voyager Office Base for 4300 UC Voyager Focus 2

Poly now offers the Voyager 4300 base as an accessory that allows the user of any of the 4310 or 4320 headsets to use their headset not only with the computer or the cell phone, but with a desk phone as well. Designed for remote workers or road warriors that need to stay in contact and not having to have different headsets during a work day. The Base takes the place of the BT700 on the computer and thanks to this the range gets increased at almost double to up to 300 feet thanks to the base that works as a range booster.

The best practice in order to avoid conflicts with the 4300 base and the BT700 dongle is to unplug the BT700 from the computer and store it in a safe place as we will not needed, then plug in the 4300 base into the computer and press the pairing key on the back of the base, then put your 4310/4320 headset on pairing mode and the headset will find and pair with the base, once paired no need to pair it again as the base and headset will remember their connectivity, even if you take the headset out of the office.
