If you use this particular type of headset, the extension cords are priceless. We are not allowed to eat or drink at our stations, so these cords allow enough movement that we can walk back to our kitchen area and grab a drink or a quick bite of a snack. They also allow us to get to other computers in the room that were too far away for the non-extended cords. Awesome if you've got this series of headset. No loss in radio quality.
