These Polycom SoundStation 2 Nortel conferences phones are the first in the industry to enable companies to connect a voice conferencing phone right out of the box to the digital wall jack of a Nortel Networks Meridian phone system. This eliminates the expense and hassle of using additional connectors, adapters and analog line cards. In order to develop these new products, Compatible with Nortel Networks Meridian, Meridian 1, Meridian SL-1 and SL-100 PBXs. The SoundStation2 Direct Connect Nortel are not compatible with Nortel Norstar Switches. Polycom does not distribute a phone that works with the Norstar PBX. Do not order these conference phones if you do not have these Nortel telephone systems.
