This is the Plantronics MIP-1 cable is a special cord that works with Avaya 4610, 4620, 4630 VoIP phones (version 1.8 or later). The MIP-1 cable allows hook switch control and replaces the handset lifter on the Plantronics CS50 or CS55. It also offers dial pad functionality for the Avaya/Lucent LKA-10. The MIP-1 picks up the electronic ring signal from the switch and rings inside the Plantronics LKA10 and Plantronics AWH-55, AWH-55+ wireless headsets. The MIP cable allows hook switch control and replaces the handset lifter.
