Thanks to Poly DirectorAI, the camera gives each participant its dedicated seat and with this the camera automatically focus its attention on each participant when they speak to avoid blurriness or bad image quality at the same time that the microphone is receiving the participant’s speech. Its like having a movie director behind the Studio X50, makes everyone be seen and heard like a movie star! To be heard is important in this matter for the same reason the Studio X50 has 3 MEMS microphones with a pickup range of up to 25 feet, this helps all the participants to stay on their place without having to get closer to the camera.
Like other Poly Video products, the Studio X50 is certified by Google, Zoom and Microsoft to work on their platforms without any hesitation and bringing the best sound and video incoming and outgoing. The Poly Studio X50 has built in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, that allows it to content sharing via Apple AirPlay, Miracast, Digital Whiteboarding or by the HDMI port and cable included with it from any laptop. The content sharing via Bluetooth is a nice solution for users having documents to share on a conference call, but not being able to have their laptop with them, as they can easily share them using their smart phones (MacOS or Android).
Thanks to the included TC8 Controller with the Poly Studio X50, allows users to launch their meetings and select their desired settings without the use of a device such as a laptop. The easy to use interface its based on Android system, for the same reason the controller can be paired with an Android device for remote capability. The features the TC8 can make for the users are: Start, Join or schedule meetings. Make calls, Content sharing control, Manage meeting participants and device settings. The TC8 Controller uses a single cable for pawer and data. If the users need to have a remote assisted option, the best practice is using an Android device, after pairing it to the TC8 and the user can control all the features from their mobile device.
Thanks to its integration with the mentioned platforms, the TC8 Controller can be used as a Zoom Rooms Controller or as a Microsoft Teams Controller. For further assistance on installing the Studio X50 and the TC8 Controller is advised to consult with an expert installation agent, as the TC8 Controller requires a CAT cable long enough to go from the back of the Poly Studio X50 to the middle of the table in the conference room for easy access or depending on the preferred location for the Controller to be.
Same as with other Poly video solutions, thanks to the onboard support for cloud video platforms, the Studio X50 needs no computer to launch the application as it can be launched by the video bar by itself, making it easier to assist to meetings and never miss an appointment due to not having a device to launch your meeting.
