Clarity PTS-500-OP3 (now Forester Solutions) is the "Push-to-Signal" amplified handset with a 9ft cord.  It allows the user to initiate special phone functions such as switching to a 2-way radio. Designed for radios, FAA, dispatch consoles, where 6-conductor cord is required.  It allows listening easier in environments with background noise and private conversations.
