This is the Plantronics CS361N replacement/Extra headset (part# 71779-01) for the Plantronics CS361N. This is the spare/extra headset If you lost or broken your Plantronics CS361N headset or if you are in a multi-shift enviornment where you have multiple users using the same telephone. This part will not work on its own so only order this item if you already have the complete Plantronics CS361 headset system and only need to replace the headset itself.

Multi-shift environment: Multiple users can purchase this additional CS361N headset and use the Re-Subscribe (Multi-Pair) feature on the same base unit. You can only use one headset at a time. While one headset is being used, another headset can be on the base/charger.

Instructions to pair this headset to your existing CS361N base: (it will not work if you don't)

1. To pair another headset to the base, you must first enable the multi-shift pairing feature. Push and hold the volume + button on the back of the charging base until the red power light (on the front of the base) starts to flash.

2. Place the headset into the charging base and immediately press the + button on the headset itself until you see the small green light on the headset come on and flash.

3. Wait for that green light on the headset to go out. To disable the multi-shift pairing feature, press and hold the volume - button on the back of the charging base.
