Two ways to wear the C400-XT

Both styles are in the box, and swapping between them takes a few seconds.

• Over-the-head headband. The most secure and most comfortable for a full shift — the default when nothing else is on your head.
• Behind-the-neck band. Clears the top of your head for a hard hat, cap, or safety glasses. Left and right bands are both included, so it sits right whichever side you run the boom on.

Microphone and 96% noise cancellation on the C400-XT

The noise cancelling works on the microphone, not your ears. The flexible boom mic strips up to 96% of background noise out of what you transmit, so the person on the call hears your voice and not the engine, the wind, or the warehouse. The boom pivots up out of your face when you're off a call and bends back down when you need it — close to your mouth is where it does its best work.

VoiceControl answers or rejects calls on your say-so, so a call never costs you a hand on the wheel. Voice dialling reaches Siri or Google Assistant straight from the headset, and voice guidance reads out status so you're not guessing at a blinking light. IP54 keeps dust and splashes out, and the C400-XT is rated to keep working down to -22°F (-30°C) — built for a January dock as much as a July one. The boom is flexible, not flimsy: it pivots out of the way off a call and bends back into place on one, shift after shift, without wearing out.
