Yealink brings a new game changer into the UC Bluetooth wireless headsets with the new Yealink BH76 Plus and today we will test it and review it in deep!

With the need of a real noise canceling headset that blocks the unwanted noises around you such as loud traffic, annoying machinery noises or noisy chatting for example, specially when working on the new hybrid mode that can be done either at the regular size office, home office or a local café, there’s always the terrifying moment on getting headset to find out that either it was too big or too small for your ears. Well… the answer for those moments comes in the shape of the new Yealink BH76 Plus!

The New Yealink BH76 Plus is a Bluetooth Class 1 headset, Microsoft Teams and UC certified with an impressive talk time of 35 hours and a standby of up to 360 hours! With Active Noise Canceling with 3 different levels and offering Yealink’s Ambient sound feature that let you hear through the headset, allowing to have a face to face conversation with your BH76 Plus on.

An impressive and really cool feature of the BH76 Plus is that it has a retractable microphone boom arm that hides inside the headset! Making it a discrete and elegant wearing headset to be used when not in a call.

Yealink offers the BH76 Plus as a true Over the Ear headset, as its earcups with memory foam covers the whole surround of the ear as the same headset blocks the unwanted noises and the ANC feature is the cherry on the top for really loud environments. But you would think “I love that, however I don’t want to cover the whole ear all the time”, Yealink heard you and this is another amazing feature of the BH76 Plus. The BH76 Plus headset can be worn as an On the Ear headset! The BH76 Plus comes with an extra set of memory foam ear cushions which transforms your headset into a new one when in not the need of covering the whole ear. This is something that allows users to keep their headsets longer as thanks to this feature is like having 2 headsets in one, one for working and one for leisure without the compromise of a rich sound quality and best performance of microphone when on duty.

The BH76 Plus comes with instructions on how to swap the earcups inside the included user guide, and its as easy as 1, 2, 3 by simply twisting their earcups. The BH76 Plus offers voice over USB feature, which means that the headset can be used as a corded headset with the included USB-C charging cable, useful when the BT51 dongle adapter is not available and on need to jump into a Teams meeting for example.

A picture is worth a thousand words

A lot of times people can type in words and sentences about microphone performance without the proper hand on the item, thanks to Yealink’s dedication and perseverance on becoming one of the top brands for your telecommunication devices they offer a full test of the BH76 Plus headset which had the chance to see and corroborate that in fact these are actual testing and scenario on real life when in need of a headset and how the performance of the Active and Passive Noise Cancelation work on it.

“How can I charge the BH76 Plus?”

There are a couple ways to charge your BH76 Plus, both offer fast charging. The basic one is using the included USB-C to USB-A cable and to plug into your computer and while it charges you can use your headset at the same time thanks to its built in voice over USB feature. Or you can use a power adapter and charge it as your mobile device. The other way to charge is is thru the Wireless Qi built in on the left side of the headset, this allows the user to charge it wirelessly using any Qi charging surface, once the headset recognize the charging pad and makes the connection you will noticed the red LED turning on letting the user know that the charging had started. If in need of wireless charging, Yealink offers its optional BH76 wireless charging base which is compatible with any smart phone with wireless charging capability as well.

“I like to walk around and I want to block the unwanted noise and make sure people on the other end of the call hear me properly.”

That is a valid point when looking for a reliable UC headset for your work needs. Specially when on the move or walking around, you don’t want the other end of the call to know that you are close to a blender or a parade. The Acoustic Shield technology from Yealink has your back on the BH76 Plus, but as mentioned before, its better to see this in action than to read from words:

As you can see in this demo, the dB level is over 100 which would be the same as being in a live convert, which hands down the BH76 Plus can handle like a champ!

The BH76 Plus offers dual Bluetooth connectivity, this means that can be used with any computer thanks to the included BT51 dongle that is already pre paired to the headset and another Bluetooth enable device such as a smart phone at the same time. Thanks to the retractable microphone boom arm feature, it allows to answer calls by bringing the microphone boom arm out.

“How do I update my BH76 Plus?”

The answer for that would be on the Yealink USB Connect. Yealink had done all the heavy lifting on the technology field and making it easier for people to use and approach without frustration. Once you get your BH76 Plus, simply download the Yealink UC Connect software, once installed simply plug in your BT51 dongle and the Yealink USB Connect will notify you that your BT51 and headset will need to update, this is important: Update one device at a time, otherwise the update will fail to load. There’s no rush to update them at the same time as the ultra fast updating takes literally less than 40 seconds per device to be updated at full.

Inside the Yealink USB Connect the user can customize the settings on the BT51 and the headset, on the BT51 can modify the range of roaming in order to save battery or get better sound coming in and out, on the headset if want to can be customized to have the best sound quality for leisure for example, and thanks to its pre programs included (called Moments) the user can choose which is the best noise canceling when on use, and even give either a boost on the desired bass, treble or voice.

One of the most comfortable headsets that we had tested and with the versatility of switching from Over the Ear to On the Ear , makes the BH76 Plus a true contender in this massive wireless UC headset market. Get yours Here.
