Jabra has two EHS cables, two different cables, jabra Link 43 (part# 14201-43), and Jabra Link 22 (part# 14201-22) available for the Cisco IP Phones 6900, 7900, 8800., and 8900 series phones (6945, 7821, 7841, 7861, 7942G, 7945G, 7962G, 7965G, 7975G, 8811, 8841, 8851, 8961). So what’s the difference?
Jabra link 43 was the original EHS cable released by Jabra for all their new ‘Pro” series office wireless headsets (Jabra Pro 920, Jabra Pro 9450, Jabra Pro 9460, Jabra Pro 9465, Jabra Pro 9470, Motion office). With this Link 43 EHS cable, you need to set the Jabra wireless headset setting in the “IQ mode” or it won’t work.
Later Jabra came out with the Jabra Link 22 for the Jabra 9400 series only. With this new cable, there is no need to change any setting on the wireless headset. It’s plug and play. But it’s only compatible with the 9400 series wireless headsets.
