Increase your audio volume for the Engenius Durafon
Internal Audio Adjustment Procedure for Engenius Durafon Handsets
HANDSET SPEAKER OUTPUT ADJUSTMENT FOR DURAFON 1X, DURAFON 4X, AND DURAFON PRO.
*Note, first confirm you have already tried setting volume to “6” but still need it louder.
1) Press Menu, *, *, # (star, star, pound)
2) Press Option 2 for “Boardtest”
3) Press 41 and you will be in the “Codec Out” test.
4) Note the digit on the bottom right corner. Default is typically between 3 to 5.
5) Zero is loudest, 9 is lowest. Adjust accordingly.
6) After changing the value press “End” to finish and again to exit.
SECONDARY HANDSET SPEAKER OUTPUT ADJUSTMENT FOR DURAFON 4X AND PRO MODELS ONLY.
1) Press Menu, *, *, # (star, star, pound)
2) Press option 4 for “Vol Adjust”
3) Use the up/down arrows to adjust between -8,-4, 0, +4, and +8.
4) +8 is loudest, -8 is lowest, and default is zero.
5) Adjust accordingly and then press the top left button to save.
6) Now press “End” 3 times to exit.
HANDSET MICROPHONE SENSITIVITY ADJUSTMENT FOR DURAFON 1X, 4X, AND PRO.
1) Press Menu, *, *, # (star, star, pound)
2) Press Option 2 for “Boardtest”
3) Press 51 and you will be in the “Codec In” test.
4) Note the digit on the bottom right corner. Default value is typically between 3 to 5.
5) Zero is loudest, 9 is lowest. Adjust accordingly.
6) After changing the value press “End” to finish and again to exit.
