The Plantronics S11 Telephone headset system is an all in one headset/amplifier which is inexpensive and guaranteed to work with all desk phones.
The S11 comes with its own headset which a lot of people may not like or find very comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
If this is the case then there is a solution that will enable one to use any of the Plantronics H-series headsets with the S11 base.
In order to use a different headset the user needs to buy the Plantronics U10P cable and any H-series headset.
Connect the U10P cable to the H-series headset and then it to the S11 base where the other headset use to be connected.
This will enable the user to purchase a headset that is much more comfortable, has better noise canceling and increase the cord length from the base.
