Microphone and call clarity on the Jabra Evolve2 75

Eight microphones do the work — four analog MEMS and four digital MEMS, arranged across the boom and the earcups, with the system selecting which to weight based on where you are and what you're doing.

Pull the boom arm down — Performance Mode — and the array tightens around your voice and rejects everything outside it. Keyboard clatter, the dishwasher in the next room, the colleague who walked over to ask a question. None of it crosses to the other end of the call.

Push the boom arm up and it tucks neatly into the right earcup. The headset switches to Discreet Mode and uses the in-cup mics for quick standups and one-on-ones where you don't want a boom hanging from your face on camera. Voice still comes through clearly. The fast charge is the underrated part. Fifteen minutes on the cable or the optional desk stand gives you four hours of runtime. Adjustable Active Noise Cancellation

Jabra's Advanced ANC uses four of the eight microphones to read the room and cancel what's coming at you. The slider in the Jabra Sound+ app sets how much. Open office at full noise — dial it up. Library-quiet meeting room — dial it down so you don't get that pressurized, head-in-a-jar feeling some ANC produces.

Tap the dedicated button on the left earcup to switch to HearThrough, and the headset pipes ambient sound back in through the same mics. Order a coffee, catch a colleague at your shoulder, hear an airport announcement — without lifting the cups off your ears.

Dual-foam cushions, built for hours not minutes

Jabra spent real engineering time on the cushions. The outer layer is a denser foam that does the work of blocking sound passively — a physical barrier on top of the ANC. The inner layer is soft memory foam that conforms around your ear and takes pressure off the cartilage. The leatherette is patterned for ventilation, which sounds like marketing until your fourth call of the day.

The headband uses the same logic — ultra-soft foam under leatherette, with a metal slide arm that adjusts cleanly and holds where you put it.

A busylight that actually does its job

Pair to your laptop and your phone at the same time. The headset remembers up to eight devices, holds two active connections, and routes calls intelligently between them — a Teams call from the laptop, a phone call from the iPhone, no manual switching.

The included Jabra Link 380 dongle extends range to 100 feet and gives you a more stable signal than your laptop's built-in Bluetooth, which matters when you step away to refill a glass of water mid-meeting. It also handles Google Fast Pair for Enterprise, which discovers the headset over Bluetooth Low Energy without draining your phone battery.

Software — Jabra Direct and Jabra Sound+

Two apps worth knowing. Jabra Direct runs on Windows or Mac for the desk-side controls — firmware updates, default audio device behavior, call control settings.
