Description

Quiet the room. Take the call.

You're on a video call, the person across the room is on theirs, and somewhere behind you a printer is making questions of itself. This is the room the Jabra Evolve2 75 was designed around β€” a wireless ANC headset built for hybrid work, where focus and call clarity are constantly competing for the same hour.

It replaces the original Evolve 75 with a quieter, lighter, more refined piece of hardware. Eight microphones. Adjustable Active Noise Cancellation you can dial from "fully open office" to "I'm not hearing any of this." A boom arm that disappears into the right earcup when you want a clean profile on camera, and drops down for performance-grade pickup when you don't. The point isn't that it does everything β€” it's that it does the right things for someone who spends most of their day on calls and the rest trying to focus between them.

Build the exact Jabra Evolve2 75 you need

Three choices, then you're done. You're matching the headset to your software, your laptop, and how you want to charge it at the desk.

Platform certification β€” pick the version aligned with your daily video tool.

  • [icon:ms-teams] MS (Microsoft Teams). Certified for Teams with a dedicated Teams button on the earcup for joining meetings, raising hands, and pulling up missed calls. Pick this if Teams runs your day.
  • [icon:uc] UC (Unified Communications). Optimized for Zoom, Google Meet, Cisco Webex, RingCentral, and every other major softphone. Same hardware, broader compatibility.

Connector β€” choose the Jabra Link 380 adapter that matches your computer.

  • [icon:usb-a] USB-A (Link 380a). For docks, traditional desktops, and most older laptops.
  • [icon:usb-c] USB-C (Link 380c). Goes straight into a modern laptop with no dongle stack.

Charging β€” pick whether you want a dedicated cradle on your desk.

  • [icon:headset-stereo] Headset only. Charge over the included USB-C cable. Lives in a bag easily, costs less.
  • [icon:stand] With charging stand. Magnetic dock that drops the headset into place between calls. Worth it if the headset has a permanent home at one desk.

Microphone and call clarity on the Jabra Evolve2 75

Eight microphones do the work β€” four analog MEMS and four digital MEMS, arranged across the boom and the earcups, with the system selecting which to weight based on where you are and what you're doing.

Pull the boom arm down β€” Performance Mode β€” and the array tightens around your voice and rejects everything outside it. Keyboard clatter, the dishwasher in the next room, the colleague who walked over to ask a question. None of it crosses to the other end of the call.

Push the boom arm up and it tucks neatly into the right earcup. The headset switches to Discreet Mode and uses the in-cup mics for quick standups and one-on-ones where you don't want a boom hanging from your face on camera. Voice still comes through clearly. The visual cue matters more than people admit.

Battery life β€” 36 hours, plus the fast charge

[stat]36 hours music Β· 24 hours talk Β· 15-min charge = 4 hours[/stat]

Charge it Sunday night and it'll get you to Thursday without thinking about it. Run ANC and the busylight on full all day and you're still looking at 18 hours of straight talk time β€” most of a workweek's call hours.

The fast charge is the underrated part. Fifteen minutes on the cable or the optional desk stand gives you four hours of runtime. Catch a low battery between meetings, drop it on the stand while you grab coffee, and you're back before the next call starts. Full charge takes about two hours and forty minutes.

Adjustable Active Noise Cancellation

Jabra's Advanced ANC uses four of the eight microphones to read the room and cancel what's coming at you. The slider in the Jabra Sound+ app sets how much. Open office at full noise β€” dial it up. Library-quiet meeting room β€” dial it down so you don't get that pressurized, head-in-a-jar feeling some ANC produces.

Tap the dedicated button on the left earcup to switch to HearThrough, and the headset pipes ambient sound back in through the same mics. Order a coffee, catch a colleague at your shoulder, hear an airport announcement β€” without lifting the cups off your ears.

[callout type="honest"]Worth knowing: this is an on-ear design. The cushions sit on your ears rather than around them, which keeps the headset light (197 g) and runs noticeably cooler over long days. If you wear glasses or prefer the full-envelope feel of over-ear cushions, the Evolve2 85 is the better fit β€” same family, around-ear cups, a bit heavier.[/callout]

Dual-foam cushions, built for hours not minutes

Jabra spent real engineering time on the cushions. The outer layer is a denser foam that does the work of blocking sound passively β€” a physical barrier on top of the ANC. The inner layer is soft memory foam that conforms around your ear and takes pressure off the cartilage. The leatherette is patterned for ventilation, which sounds like marketing until your fourth call of the day.

The headband uses the same logic β€” ultra-soft foam under leatherette, with a metal slide arm that adjusts cleanly and holds where you put it.

A busylight that actually does its job

[card title="Visible from every angle"]Jabra redesigned the busylight on the Evolve2 75 specifically because the one on the original Evolve 75 wasn't visible enough from the side. The new ring lights up red when you're on a call and can be seen from front, side, and behind β€” which is the whole point. The colleague halfway across the office doesn't have to read your facial expression. They see the light and turn around before they've started talking.[/card]

Bluetooth 5.2 with two simultaneous connections

Pair to your laptop and your phone at the same time. The headset remembers up to eight devices, holds two active connections, and routes calls intelligently between them β€” a Teams call from the laptop, a phone call from the iPhone, no manual switching.

The included Jabra Link 380 dongle extends range to 100 feet and gives you a more stable signal than your laptop's built-in Bluetooth, which matters when you step away to refill a glass of water mid-meeting. It also handles Google Fast Pair for Enterprise, which discovers the headset over Bluetooth Low Energy without draining your phone battery.

Software β€” Jabra Direct and Jabra Sound+

Two apps worth knowing. Jabra Direct runs on Windows or Mac for the desk-side controls β€” firmware updates, default audio device behavior, call control settings. Jabra Sound+ runs on iOS or Android for personal controls β€” ANC slider, EQ presets, busylight on/off, voice prompts. You don't need either to use the headset, but you'll want them once you start saving an EQ profile for music versus one for calls.

Two years of warranty, daily wear that doesn't punish your ears, and a microphone system good enough that nobody on the call asks where you're calling from. That's what the Evolve2 75 is buying back β€” your colleagues stop interrupting you, your callers stop straining to hear you, and you stop noticing the headset on your head.
