How EncorePro Model Numbers Work
Odd numbers cover one ear and even numbers cover two, so the HW510 and HW710 are mono and the HW520 and HW720 are binaural. The 500 series is the durable everyday tier, around 50 to 70 grams, with SoundGuard spike protection and Telecoil hearing-aid compatibility. The 700 series adds leatherette cushions and a premium build for heavy all-day users. The HW530 skips the headband for an over-the-ear hook, and the HW540 wears three ways.
A D on the end means the digital version, built for contact centers that manage their headsets centrally. The Polaris PW models are the same HW headsets packaged with an A10 cord, and the EncorePro 310 and 320 add Dynamic Mute Alert, which warns an agent who starts talking while still on mute. On the USB side, the EP515-M uses one cable for both USB-A and USB-C computers, and the EP545 wears three ways.
